I drew comics as a child but more or less stopped in my late teens, as I needed to conserve my energy to dodge bailiffs and debt collectors. It was always a life goal of mine to get a comic book published but the idea of being involved with comics seemed pretty unlikely and involved too many people and resources I didn't have. Until one day I randomly had a dream I bought a graphics tablet. When I woke up I realised I was now a paid professional and could actually afford such a thing. I went out and bought a wacom tablet and I have never regretted it. Having to write, pencil, ink, colour, letter, edit and publish with a full time nine to five job and an attention seeking dog isn't particularly easy, but making comics is something I have always dreamed of doing so I'll just have to find the time to do it!
